LOCATION
Austrian Alpine Activities is a company based in central Austria, close to the town of Schladming in the Dachstein region of Steiermark. Sharing the border with the Salzburgerland region of Austria, the area is surrounded by some of the finest scenery, cultures and traditions to be found in Europe. The Alpine backdrop, clear lakes and pristine environment make for a perfect setting in which to explore and expand your life’s activities.
The Schladming Dachstein area is perfect for wide variety of sports throughout the year. In the summer you can enjoy rock climbing on cliffs from 30m to 800m, if you haven’t climbed before doing some of the many Via Ferrates in the area is the perfect activity to start you off. The hiking trails here attract many tourists to the region. The network of paths provide so much choice and the numerous mountain huts to provide a well earned break!
